The Trolley Route begins at the Rubey Park transit center and provides service to the base of Aspen Mountain, the Silver Queen Gondola, and the hotel and lodging district. It travels along Galena which is the axis to the commercial core. Dual in-street track will permit trolleys to operate with automobile traffic flow. The Trolley passes the Rio Grande Plaza. From here, service is provided to the Parking Garage, Library, Aspen Chamber and Resorts Association, County Court House and Offices, and the Youth Center. From the Plaza the trolley loops around the Rio Grand park providing service to Theater in the Park, the Aspen Art Museum, the Truman Commercial Center, the North Mill Commercial Center, the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies. The terminus for the route is at the Post Office. Future options are to extend the track on to Dean Street and up to Hunter Creek.
