*a 10% discount is available for locals and seniors.  One way fares are available for hikers and bikers who wish to return to Glenwood or proceed on to Carbondale.  Bikes and pack storage is available in the open car.

 

All major credit cards are accepted.  Initially, tickets are only available at the GHT gift shop on a first come first serve basis.  An online ticketing and reservation system is under development.

Schedule

 

Special Events

Special event trains will be added when needed, e.g. for Strawberry days and the 4th of July.  Their schedule will be posted on this web site.

 

Group rates are available and are scheduled by contacting the ticket office.

 

The train is available for charter evenings and during the week.  Catering assistance as well as group transportation is available through GHT.  Charters are arranged by contacting the ticket office.

 

General Schedule

Trains run from May 25, 2007 to October 7, 2007 on weekends.   Departures are at 10:00am, 12:00n, and 2:00pm returning an hour later. If needed an extra train will be added at 4:00pm.
